3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Grovlam (4136) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2007
Bottle. Large beige thick creamy like head that mostly lasted. Nice display of lacework. Dark brown color with visible particles in flow. Aroma is heavy sweet fruity and slightly Christmas spicy. Over the palate some light bitter notes of hops can be felt. Also dried fruit, toffee, toasted malt, hint of sweet chocolate and liquorish. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and slightly thick texture. Moderated sweet flavor with light bitterness. Lingering light Christmas spice and liquorish like finish. Excellent Christmas beer I thought.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 TheDog (504) - Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 26, 2007
bottle version 2007. Dark brown colour with thin beige head. Light aroma and taste of caramel, nut and a bit vanila. I´ve had this at a christmas-beer tasting, up against Fur Julebryg, Fanø Julebryg, Troldhedes and Ørbæk Santa C. Raasted voted in at no. 3 behind Troldhede and Fanø. Raasted being a dissapointmnt because of the week and young taste.
