COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Stilfuld øl i stilfuld indpakning. 10 % alkohol.

Bottle. 10.0%. Best before 03.03.14. Pours a murky reddish brown with a light pinkish head. Bit of lacing. Sweetish and tart cherry aroma. Light medicinal note. Malty and fruity notes as it warms. Flavour is sweet, tart and bitter with cherries. Malty and fruity notes in the background. Metallic note creeps in from the side as it warms. Bitter cherry finish with a lingering tart wine-like note and a mild alcohol burn. Overall pretty decent, and the cherry notes weren’t overdone. 28.04.13.

Bottle, 33 cl, at Brother Bo. Murky pale reddish, small reddish beige head. Deep cherries, a touch if vanilla, hints of almond. Not as sweet as suspected, nor as tart. Very smooth, alcohol present. Vineous.

33 cl bottle poured in to a flute. Deep red-brown colour with a big, dense light pink head. Sweet aroma with cherries, pale malts, marzipan and yeasts. Some caramel malts. Taste is sweet. Medium body, surprisingly thin for a 10 % alc. Finishes sweet - only slightly tart with cherries and citrus. Would be great with more tartness, this one is more citric. However, still a good experience.

Cherry taste (of cause), not too sweet but very well balanced. Sweetish liquorice and medium foam.

@ Copenhagen festival 2011. The aroma has cherries, yeast, light marzipan notes. Brown-red coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is a bit sweet, very fruity. Medium body. ’Erg lekker’ my notes say. ;)
