Tap at Ølbaren shared with Evil Stepdad. Always looking forward to beers including this hop and this didnt let me down. Clear orange look with a huge off white head leaving lacings. Aroma is nice and powerfull with notes of blackberry, sweet mandarine, yeast and some pine - awsome! Flavor is sweet fruity, medium bitter and has a yeast in it aswell. Overall its another great Nelson ipa

Draft. An amber beer with a light tan head. The aroma has strong notes of Nelson Sauvin hops lending it notes of spices, over ripe fruits, and a bit of cats piss. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of spicy hops, as well as medium notes of malt, caramel, and grass, leading to a quite dry and bitter finish.

Tap @ Ølbaren, Cph.
Pours clear redish amber with fine bubbles reaching towards a fine, staying, creamy, off-white head. Lovely aroma, light resin, strawberries, plant sap and apricot. Medium carbonation, great dry mouthfeel. Flavour has caramel that balances with just a hint of grainy chocolate. Lots of hoppiness take over, plant sap, oranges, red apples, apricot, dry, bitter and lingering fruity. Quite lovely and instantly drinkable.

(Draught) pours amber with red notes and a large creamy off-white head. The aroma is medium hoppy and near medium malty with notes of passion fruit, mango, peach, pineapple, grapes, mild pine, new backed cookies, dry caramel malt and vanilla alongside a light oxidized hop touch. Maybe a bit phenolic. I like the malt side of the of this beer ( I am more into dry IPA:s). The flavour is light to medium sweet, medium to heavily bitter and light a acidic. Tones of tropical fruits, citrus, cookies and toast. The mouthfeel light sticky and round with medium carbonation. Fruity, hoppy finish. Medium bodied.

omhper (19334) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 12, 2011
Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, rich firm head. Evident minty black currant aroma. Dryish with dense, surprisngly slim body and slick, rounded mouthfeel. The slight caramelly malt is overrun by minty NZ hops and a powerful bitterness. Quite delightful.

Svesse (6080) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2011
(Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm, 13 May 2011) Dark amber colour with creamy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of orange peel, grain and a touch of caramel. Fruity, malty taste with caramel, citrus, grapefruit, orange marmalade and a solid malt foundation to support a generous citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, slightly sweet and fairly bitter. Nicely balanced IPA, excellent beer.
