330ml brown bottle. Golden coloured with a little hint of orange.A bit of haze. Low, thin white head, minimal lacing. Sweet and juicy orange hop aroma. Lots of citrus flavour up front, slight honey, fruity lemon and orange sweetness. Medium bitter finish, lingering notes of grapefruit. Light in the mouth, soft carbonation, light body. Pretty fresh tasting, could drink a lot of this.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 Narnad (1340) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - FEB 4, 2011
When opened beer was filed almost up to the cap. A deep, very hazy orange color with a thin but dense off-white head. Aroma has a very strong citrus nose that you can detect as soon as it’s poured into the glass. Strong caramel malt sweetness is under the orange, light lemon, pineapple and pine hoppiness. Flavor has a strong grassy hops note early. A strong orange citrus follows this with a modest caramel malt sweetness with the brew finishes with a bitter bite. Body is perfect for the style as it leans toward a light/modest feeling and has a crisp, mild dryness at the end. Great lacing on the glass form the head. Overall a very solid pale ale. Nose and flavor are almost perfect.

330ml bottle. Dark amber with thin lasting foam. Very nice hop aroma. Hop forward with a strong peppery body and herbal-pepper finish. As you move through the glass the pepper sinks into the herb and a spruce character takes its place. A little bit different to get into and then a taste that could become quite familiar.

Bottle. Pours a bright orange-kissed golden, with a generous foamy white head. Big grapefruity nose, lots of fruity hops. Flavours are very much hop-driven as well, loads of grapefruit, nuances of cooked peaches and honey. Very tasty.

On tap at Esbjerg Beerfestival. A clear, golden beer with a finger-thick off-white ehad leaving some lacings. Lovely citrusy nose with resins and some pale malts. Citrusy flavor, some orange, resins and very bitter. Full-bodied, niceley carbonated and almost astringent. Wonderful citrusy bitterness. Overall, it’s a very good beer, almost too bitter, but I really like it. 091022
