On tap at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. A beer with a nice dark golden body and a big beige head on top. Sweetish, lightly spiced nose with banana and citrus. The flavor has a lovely sweetness as well as some spices, banana and citrus. Some bitterness in the medium length finish. Full-bodied and effervescent. Not a very complex beer but really lovely. Draught@EBF 2008. Thin offwhite head, deep copper colored body. Nice fruity and yeasty aroma with a scent of bubble-gum and mild spices. Light malty flavor with lots of ripe fruits, and a note of yeast and alcohol. Healthy body. Fruity ending. True to the type, a very nice one.

[EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Golden color. Aroma of spicy, fruit, citrus, good malty base. Over the palate came mild yeast, sweet toasted malt and a hint of alcoholic feel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of bitter and acidic. Sweet fruity and mild spicy finish.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2008 Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Clear amber. Estery pineapple aroma with almond and caramel. Medium sweet with dense mouthfeel. Flavour of grainy malt, and marzipan complimented by arousing estery alcohol. An interesting tripel with more bite in the bitterness than expected.
