COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Trippel is brewed with inspiration from the Belgian monestary beers. Pilsner malt and large quantities of light cane sugar gives the beer its golden color. The spices leaves a delicate aroma and flavor of citrus and the sugar makes the beer sweet. Very well suited for deserts. Try boiling Trippel to a caramel sirup and pour it over a piece of hot apple pie. Orange peel, coriander and cane sugar has been added.

Bottle @ René’s house. Thanks. Hazy, orangish appearance with a white head and a fair amount of sediment. Light buttery, orange citrusy, toasty malty aroma. Sickly sweet, candy sugar, peach, orange citrusy, super sweet flavor.

Small white head. Clear amber body with small floaties. Strawy sugary fruity aroma with alcohol and resin notes. Sweet-dryish strawy grape taste with caramel, honey, and alcohol notes. Fullish body. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish brown sugar and herbs aftertaste with grapes and spice notes, as well as apple jam. Nice, drinkable, but too sweet. (0.375l bottle, Salling, Århus.)

Bottle, with a re label and a blackfoil-wrapped neck (but I think its the same beer). Pours a cloudy golden brown with the thinnest of off-white heads. Aroma is very sweet, caramel and Del Monte’s fruit cocktail-- not very trippel-ish at all. Sweet sugary palate, caramel and pear, some tinned mandarin orange. Not very good unfortunately.

From bottle with cork - 10 cl. Hazy light gold pour with a white head. Aroma of pale malt, spice and banana. Maybe a bug brew, the first taste was extremely sweet. Sweetness could be seen long after the beer was drunk.

Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, yeasty and somewhat spicy - coriander and orange peel. Flavor is rather sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish with a little warming alcohol. Good, but a bit on the sweet side. 121008

31-DEC-2010, bottle from "Fish & Beer". Golden low head, not very inviting looks. But the aroma makes you want to taste it... ...sweet fruits, banana - quite yeasty. Very sweet - very very sweet. Loads of fruit. Sweeter than most triples. very full mouthfeel. Nice brew.

Rating #450, bottle from Fish N’ Beer

Well, first of all, I don’t understand the low score given to this beer. I think it was a magnificent tripel, allthough it not nessecarily did remind me much of any other tripel I have had - not that this beer could be interpreted as anything else than a tripel. That would be impossible due to the special floral aromas and the obvious yeastyness. Appearance was quite average, but when that was over with, it was time to smell this son of a bitch. That expierence gave impressions of both lavender, typical tripel-flowers and candystore. Nice. The flavor was not worse than that at all. Here, there were roses, lavender, pineapples in bunches, floral hops, a lot of sweetness and in the end a careful touch of alcohol and some pepper. A delicate and not overwhelming amount bitterness, which suits this brew fine. It was more malty than many other tripels, but at the same time maintaining it’s refreshing and light abilities. This would be considered impossible to mix with the fact that the thickness was almost floating-sugar-like, but it apparently is not. Theryby said: Thick, creamy and very nice brew.
