Sampled on tap at the brewery during ABA Beer Tour ’07. Pours a hazy golden pale blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a white ring. Aroma of banana esters, light bready malt with a touch of grassy hops. Taste is smooth, creamy and sweet with fruity banana and citrus flavors. Medium body with no carbonation. Finish is somewhat syrupy, sweet with a slight mellon aftertaste. Almost a fruit beer character than a tripel. Very tastey though.

Feb 12, 2008 Green Dragon Pub NYE 07 with Bikesandbeer and his gf Jessi. Draft. @ Green Dragon Pub in Portland Oregon. Guessing this is what this was, listed as Cascade tempter tripel. Pours gold with a bright white ring for a head. Sweet Yeasty Nose. Taste is sweet citrus with a nice body. Nice tripel.

Dec 23, 2007 Poured a hazy blonde-golden body with a tiny whitish head. Mildly tart with hints of oak tannins. Finished crisp and slightly sweet. Captivating and quaffable.

Dec 20, 2007 Draft at the brewpub (as Belgian Style Tripel Ale). Sweetish Belgian spice aroma. Bright golden color with a white head. Medium body with very smooth carbonation. Sweet caramel, low impact spice, touch of vanilla, perhaps floral or grassy hop. Leaves the mouth tingling. Should be a sipper.

Oct 10, 2007 Draft at Bailey’s Taproom, Portland. A hazy golden beer with a thick beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of spices, wheat, and oranges. The flavor is very sweet - a bit too much for my liking, with notes of spices, yeast, oranges, and peaches, leading to a dry wheaty finish. A bit too much for me.
