on tap. Pours red brown with beige head. Floral hops, toffee, brown sugar smells. Tastes a little dusty, sugary, some toasted nuts, slight pepperyness.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark amber brown with an off-white head. The aroma is malty and pretty expected, with toasted grain, lightly burnt caramel, and a touch of hops. The flavor has a malt profile that follows the aroma with toasty malt and rich dark caramel that borders on roast. Light on the hops and sweet in balance, though not overly so. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. An alright amber ale with a nice rich malt profile that brings a very light roast.

[2949-20100626] Tap. Mild wood plastic tarp aroma has spent grains. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Lightly toasted grains and yeast flavour with a hint of roast aftertaste. Medium body. Boring.

2010-06-26. Dark red-brown body, small beige head. 3+ Flavour is malty, light toasty overtones. Aroma is similar, modest toasty character to the simple malty core. Average plus bodied palate. Pretty simple, but a good example of the style. On Tap at Raccoon Lodge, Portland.

I didnt expect to like it, but it really was delicious. Not too caramelly or sweet, nice hop bite, complex but mellow. very good beer.

tap at brewpub. pours a clear copper with a small beige head. doughy bock like malt backing. sweet bread. light coffee. not much going on in the nose. ok, not great.

On tap at Paddy’s as Cascade Copper Celtic. Minimal aroma (due to the plastic cup?). A bit woody tasting. Nice beer.

On tap at Raccoon Lodge Portland, Pours out a dark amber topepd with a small sand head. Aroma was of sweet caramell roast malt and a nice roast nut aswell. Taste was more of the sweet malts along with a little floral hop. Pretty tasy.
