riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Dec 18, 2008 Aroma of fresh raspberries and a hint of wheat perhaps. Pours a reddish orange color. Nice fresh tart raspberry flavors combine with a very light wheat malt. Tart quenching finish. Super fresh. Ron makes great fruit beer. unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Aug 14, 2006 I had this taster at the 2006 OBF. bright color of pink Kool-Aid. nice fruit aroma. very fizzy (maybe from some kind of secondary fermintation?) very light bodied and very refreshing. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Nov 18, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Cloudy light golden amber with a modest tan head. Nice floral raspberry notes, very fruity and natural smelling--no juice concentrate notes or any of that business you sometimes fear with session fruit beers. Creamy medium body with assertive, pleasant carb and a bit of pleasing grain on the tongue. Definite wheat, grain, and raspberry notes on the mid-palate. Refreshing, drinkable, clean, and straightforward. You can drink this one as fast as you want, or as long as you want, but probably not both. Nice stuff. bitbucket (2026), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jul 2, 2008 On tap at Raccoon Lodge. Pours a cloudy pink/orange with a lacy white head. Lightly sour raspberry wheat aroma. Light body and carbonation. The taste reminded me of rhubarb, but in a good way. Crisp, clean finish. I figured I’d try this beer just to get the rating, but was really surprised to find a raspberry beer that didn’t suck. It was actually pretty tasty! jake65 (1658), Williston, North Dakota, USA Feb 10, 2009 Tap @ Raccoon Lodge: Kind of a pale yellow/golden color with a large white head. Nose is plentiful in raspberries, not much wheat. Flavor is full of that same fresh raspberry sweet and tartness combined with just a little wheat and a subtle hopping. This was the sleeper of the sample tray... cprochak (388), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2009 On tap at Raccoon Lodge on 6/27/09. Incredible raspberry aroma with touch of bread and vanilla. Pours a nice pink with off-cream head. For the style, the raspberry flavor is dominant and impressive. Perhaps one of the best fruit beers I’ve tried. WeeHeavySD (2941), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Nov 17, 2008 Tap @ the brewery. A very popular beer for the brewery. Pours orange with a bright white ring. Nose is sweet razz. Taste is razzy tasty and slightly tart. bhensonb (4187), Woodland, California, USA Dec 20, 2007 Strong raspberry aroma. Clear, deep Cherry 7-Up color with a pinkish head. Thinnish body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is raspberry, followed by wheat, finishing with a little raspberry seed bitter. Clean and refreshing. Likely one of the "better" raspberry concoctions.
