Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow, very small head. Aromas are damp, a bit citrus. Taste is light sweet, and light bitter. Low hopped for a pale ale. Medium texture, rather flat carbonation. Aftertaste is light malt and a few citrus and ginger aromas. Maybe a bit more citra-hop? Overall not a real pale Ale, drinkable, but not outstanding

33cl bottle bb02/2015. Cute faux-naïf label, der Rotfuchs parading in Zwiesel, home of Germany’s nearly-extinct Dampfbier. Beer itself, alas, pour everything but rot and is basically a slightly exotica-hopped Märzen-style ale. Grainy, wildflower, melissa and green apple peel nose. Taste is cakey as well, notes of more melissa and wildhoney, unripe green berry, nettle, carrying me back to weeks of sipping herbal cold tea. Further sipping for citrus exotics in vain, while beer remained drinkable - just not an ale in the least.

Pours a spongy, soon collapsing head, with a clear sunny-yellow color. Aromas of wheat, soft yeast and lime defined hops with kiwi, convincing. Begins with sour lemon, soft malts, straw, slick yeast, and apple with hints of medicine. Has a medium carbonation which goes well along with the subtle hop bitterness, evoking a solid balanced overall impression. This leads to a more wheat defined flavor, supported by limelike, fruity hops. Slightly fermented wheat, pharmaceutic, seems a little off-flavored, nonetheless it manages to add complexity to the hops. Finishes medium dry, while bready malts are still detectable, slightly bitter, ends with a slick sour note.

Geruch leicht fruchtig, hopfig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, leicht hopfig, Karamell.

sampled both bottled and on tap at klub malych pivovaru in pilsen. amber with a slender head; sweaty malt aroma with a hint of urinal cake; dull texture; light toffee apple, weet bix and tinny hops - not a great combination

Bottle. Cloudy yellow, suspended yeast flocks, offwhite lace. Peach/apricot and lemongrass hop aromatics. Fruity base flavor, fitting grassy and tropical finish. Light metallic aftertaste. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. Pleasant

Really clear, with a minimum of sediments and a finger of white head. Really aromatic with some citrus fruits and some mango. In mouth is kinda watery, citrus and with a grassy end. Big drinkability, if it had less alcohol it could be a good session beer.
