sampled both bottled and on tap at klub malych pivovaru in pilsen. amber with a slender head; sweaty malt aroma with a hint of urinal cake; dull texture; light toffee apple, weet bix and tinny hops - not a great combination

Bottle. Cloudy yellow, suspended yeast flocks, offwhite lace. Peach/apricot and lemongrass hop aromatics. Fruity base flavor, fitting grassy and tropical finish. Light metallic aftertaste. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. Pleasant

Really clear, with a minimum of sediments and a finger of white head. Really aromatic with some citrus fruits and some mango. In mouth is kinda watery, citrus and with a grassy end. Big drinkability, if it had less alcohol it could be a good session beer.

Idiosynkrasie (3241) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - SEP 26, 2013
330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Minimally strawy and grainy aroma, a note of gooseberry and hints other unspecific fruity hop flavours. Taste is dry hoppy, minimally grassy and wet strawy, fruity hints of gooseberry, minimally sweet pale malty background. Lacks some easiness, somehow clammy and clumsy.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, some tropical fruitiness, some caramel and some grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish, light tropical fruitiness, some caramel and light grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and light fruitiness, light grapefruit - citrus hoppyness, faint alcohol. OK lightly sweetish and lightly hopped pale ale - not too much caramel.

+1 for the name and label. The beer itself has a correct looking darker-golden body with small off white lace. Citric aroma, lemon even, sweet peach dessert, piney and clean yet present yeast. Not super fresh. Good bitternes, indeed an English feeling body which is interesting. I enjoy it’s fairly straighforward yet rich character. Perhaps a bit sticky from the residual sugars. Nice. (33cl bottle from Wasana’s Getränken Oase)

Bottle looks kiddy-like, but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts malty, more and more hoppy-dry, but also quite soapy and metallically. Finish unbalanced, still quite soapy. Not very drinkable. Not my favourite.

Quack-Duck (7517) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 1, 2013
bottle from Bierzwerg. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy, creamy head. Malty with a pleasant sweetness to balance the hops with its tropical fruit character well. Also slightly resiny.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Fruity and slightly piney hoppy aroma with exotic notes and citrus. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft malty base with present notes of fruity hops, including notes of citrus, grapefruit and some minty accents; mildly sweet malty finish with fruity hoppy notes and a tinge of ethereally spices. Okay. 29.VI.13

Borresteijn (4403) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 31, 2013
33cl Bottle from Lost Property. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of tropical fruits like lychee, dragonfruit, melon, some citrus, a bit watery and cloying, light bready malts, much like an English hopped up golden ale. Flavour is malty, light bready, quite sweet, very fruity, melon, lychee, light citrus, decent hoppy finish. Like a cross between a golden ale and a strong lager with a little extra hops. Decent.
