(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2014) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, honey and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, marmalade, corn and hints of juniper berries. Medium body, with a certain sweetness and a gentle bitterness. Fairly sweet, a bit different, but quite nice.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from SB 141218.
Cloudy dark amber, rather weak head.
Smells like opening a can of preserved sweet corn with some bread.
Sweet and sour taste with really faint bitterness. Nothing like bourbon in my taste. Not anymore.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from bottle, hazy dark copper with huge creamy head. Aroma is heady with notes of dark bread, syrup, toffee and butter. Taste is complex and smooth, notes of bread, toffee and resin. Alocohol punches through towards the end and ruins the finish. Otherwise a nice companion!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sample at SBWF 2014. Fruity smell with butter, corn and wood. Similar taste but lighter with some butter and wood. It has some bourboun notes but in a beer. The butter is disturbing.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Rådanäs Bourbon Mash Beer) Bottle 330 ml from Nisse666, thanks! Poured into a tulip, ABV 6.7%
Very dark orange colour, amber I’d say, with a tall, somewhat thin, off-white head. Good retention. Spots of lacing left on the glass.
Slightly malty aroma, nuts, caramel, ripe peaches.
Taste of nuts, grains, sugars, light fruity notes of mostly peaches an apricot, dusty. The end result reminds faintly of bourbon but not quite there.
Medium body, a bit high on the carbonation, fairly dry palate.
Overall okay, nothing spectacular but drinks pleasantly enough.

Buttered popcorn in both aroma and taste, the bitterness nicely rounds of the buttery making the finish dry
