Gras, butter, bitterness and bit of sweetness in taste. Grass and bitterness in aftertaste. mcsquint (93), , Missouri, USA Feb 8, 2009 Poured from 500ml bottle into dimpled mug.
Aroma - Hops is the predominant aroma. Notes of grass and hay.
Appearance - Straw golden in color. Crystal clear with quickly diminishing 1 finger white head.
Flavor - Light malt at first followed immediately by sharp, somewhat bitter hops.
Palate - Light and bubbly on the tongue. Finishes very dry and clean.
Overall - While it’s not as good as a Pils poured in Germany, this is an excellent example of the style. Crisp, clean and malty. At $3.29\bottle this is highly recommended.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, grain, corn. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [300908] WabashMan (798), Noblesville, Indiana, USA Dec 31, 2008 A 3/5 for appearance is a tad generous, I suppose, as the somewhat meek color and too fizzy head doesn’t deserve the mark, but neither does it deserve 2/5. Flavor is bready, a little dry, and with a lightly hoppy finish. It lacks depth, but is drinkable. Nose is very weak. g2bfry (49), San Diego, California, USA Dec 6, 2008 Biscuity malt and hop aroma, slightly fruity. Gold-yellow with a light white head leaving a little behind on the wall. Apple malty flavor followed by dry hoppiness and a finish of grainy malt. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Strangebrewer (208), Chatham, Ontario, Canada Dec 2, 2008 Poured very clean yellow with with white carbonated head. Floral hop aroma. Very carbonated. Crisp metallic bitterness. Alcholic feel in the finish.
