| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 31, 2008 A 3/5 for appearance is a tad generous, I suppose, as the somewhat meek color and too fizzy head doesn’t deserve the mark, but neither does it deserve 2/5. Flavor is bready, a little dry, and with a lightly hoppy finish. It lacks depth, but is drinkable. Nose is very weak. g2bfry (49), San Diego, California, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 29, 2008 Golden body and a standard looking white head. Hoppy and grainy aroma. Tastes like a standard German pilsner. Nicely hopped, with some bitterness in it. Smooth and crisp feel to it. Nothing great, but something that you know you can drink as much as you want. Served chilled in glass.
Clean pale gold body, fine beading leading to a smallsh white head.
Soft aroma; floral hops, cereally biscuit malt, bit of bread and honey, maybe a touch of DMS? Not sure.
Reasonably lean body, drying grainy texture, moderate-to-high carbonation. Decent bitter note towards finish.
Simple sort of flavour; grainy cereal malt, typical pilsner huskiness, faint touches of citrus and herbs. Lingering dry finish, touch of bready yeast.
Standard sort of German pils. Light, clean, highly quaffable, without being overly memorable. Sparky27 (1585), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Pours a light gold with a 2 finger quickly dissipating white head and decent lacing. Nose is standard pilz malt and hops. Taste is pretty much the same, with a dry light hoppy bitter finish. Medium mouth feel. Not bad really, no flaws and easy to drink.
