jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 12, 2008 German/Swiss tasting at three cellars milwaukee. Grassy and hop aroma. Refreshing, light on the palate and slightly dry Mogwai (217), Askeby, Denmark Aug 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden straw colour with white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, grass and pilsner malt. Flavor is much of the same. However I do not like the aftertaste. Another argument as to why I don’t like pilsners... GreenWall (53), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 1, 2008 Clear straw-coloured beer with a fine white head. Faint grassy, spicy noble hop aroma with a lot of grainy pils malt. Flavour is a bit of grass with more grainy malt, offset by a fair bit of toothsome crisp sulfate hop bitterness. Extremely refreshing, light on the palate, goes down nicely. I’d have liked more hop aroma, but still, this is a real German pils. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Jul 27, 2008 Smelled like a chlorinated swimming pool and was the color of pee. Taste slightly better than the aroma, making for a nice, stinging finish that lasts forever. Gross. imdownthepub (5087), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jul 9, 2008 Bottled, 330ml at Gasthaus von Ebrichter, Niederer, Germany. Pale yellow gold with white head. Dry herby, but heavily gassed beer, nicely refreshing with a goodly amount of hops. Maybe a little short on the finish, but not bad. MartiniFiend (104), Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, USA Jul 7, 2008 Bottle. Gold color with a good sized head looks more like a lager.Aroma of hops anda little grassy like a lager light palate...like a lager. Tastes like a lager no pilsner qualities at not a true pilsner LordBeamish (144), Boozetown, Ontario, Canada Jul 7, 2008 Not bad....nice hoppy aroma and gold colouring. What I really liked was the well balanced hoppy bitterness as it went down smooth like most pils. A good thirst quencher. troopie (848), USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle. Poured pale gold with a thick lasting white head. Much lacing. Fruity and hoppy aroma; Lekker hoppy and fruity flavour. Finish starts well, then turns a bit watery. But a fine pils overall
