harrisoni (6704), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 26, 2008 Bottle at The Ship & Mitre pub beer festival, Liverpool. Pale gold, thin white head. Bit of lager hops on aroma. Rather a good crisp finish, bit of lemon. It’s a pretty good pils. Crisp, refreshing and drinkable. Does what a pils should do with enough on finish to give it character. aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Apr 25, 2008 Pours a clear gold with a white head. The aroma is very mildly hoppy. The straw malt is there, but a little thin and watery. The better pilsners tend to be malty in their own way and this one isn’t. ukoolaid (572), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA Apr 21, 2008 Pours golden with a big white head. Lightly hoppy aroma and a light sweet dry taste. Light body and a bitter dry finish. Not bad. rds (224), USA Apr 20, 2008 Very clear golden beeer below a big white head. Clean taste, I might, like more on a warmer summer day. PilsnerPeter (2598), Flushing, New York, USA Apr 20, 2008 Tap at Sugar Lounge: Golden pour with great clarity and topped by a dense white foam. Slightly sweet pale malt aroma. Crisp texture. The flavor has a clean malt character, it’s slightly doughy, but evidently German. The hop presence is dry-ish and grassy. When it warms there’s an almost nutty touch. Simple, but quaffable and balanced. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA Apr 16, 2008 12oz bottle: Another decent lager from the dollar bin. Pours a clear honey gold with a hint of red and a nice white cap. The nose is simple with balanced but soft grassy hops and buttery malts. The body continues this way and drinks nice and smooth. Bread and caramel notes emerge on the back of the tongue as a light bitterness offers a nice piney resin to the finish. Sure this isn’t super complex, but is that what it is trying to be? Another solid pilsner that I will drink during the upcoming heat of summer. Theis (3617), Denmark Apr 14, 2008 Draught at Kalaset. Clear golden - white head. Straw, freshness, hay, light cardboard, light diacetyl aroma, light brown sugar. Broing.... TaxiDriver (910), Stadland, Germany Apr 5, 2008 Tap. Moderate hoppy, light sour. Large white foamy head, yellow body. Short duration, moderate bitter. Dry, light to medium body, lively carbonation, moderate astringent finish. A normal Pils.
