Clear medium yellow color with a average, off-white head frothy.
The aroma is slightly sweet, yeast, grain, hop.
Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitterness with a average to long duration, smooth, tasty, and very nice.
Typical German Premium Pilsner. This is the basic norm of the class.

Bottle from Willow Court Wines, Lichfield. Classic pale yellow pilsner looks mit a big, foamy head. Yeasty, sweet aroma. Taste is skunky metallic citrus. More of a macro lager.

Grassy aroma with a very light head. Color is very light yellow almost like water. Taste is also grassy and biscuit. Not very pleasant. Drinkable but not great.

Canette 500ml. De couleur jaune pâle et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle, léger de houblon floral avec quelques notes de miel . Mince-moyenne en bouche et moyennement pétillante aux notes croustillantes ainsi qu’avec une texture aux faibles notes crémeuses. Goût de malt pâle croustillant avec de très légères traces fruitées (zeste de citron) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un goût légèrement de grains de malt pâle de miel légèrement sucrés puis en finale une légère amertume de houblon floral aux notes herbeuses (gazon mouillé) vient se rajouter. Post-goût court et sec, légèrement amer de houblon floral aux notes herbeuses. (2006)
