Slightly sweet pale malt aroma. Crisp texture. The flavor has a clean malt character, it’s slightly doughy, but evidently German. The hop presence is dry-ish and grassy. When it warms there’s an almost nutty touch. Simple, but quaffable and balanced. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA

Pours a clear honey gold with a hint of red and a nice white cap. The nose is simple with balanced but soft grassy hops and buttery malts. The body continues this way and drinks nice and smooth. Bread and caramel notes emerge on the back of the tongue as a light bitterness offers a nice piney resin to the finish. Sure this isn’t super complex, but is that what it is trying to be? Another solid pilsner that I will drink during the upcoming heat of summer. Theis (3651), Denmark

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 30, 2008 A very pretty clear golden amber, rather appealing. Aroma is typical of this kind of beer, but strong. Flavor is full, malty, crisp - average for a pilsner except richer than most, and not watery. Texture is smooth and lively, and the aftertaste has just a touch of bitterness. keepersj12 (788), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA
