Radeberger Pilsner

This is a wonderful, tasty pilsner, with great malty body balanced with light hop bitterness and a crisp finish. It’s gold with a big, lasting white head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma is yeast, grain, pine and grapefruit. The taste is nice malty grain , yeast, with strong malty sweetness balanced by nice pine bitterness, leaving a crisp, light, dry finish. It’s smooth, tasty, and very nice.

Used to be a cult beer from East Germany, available only on night trains in West Germany that used to be catered by Mitropa Sleeper Co. Definitely a high quality, even if volume produced, beer. Quality of ingredients easily detectable. More warmth (malt) than overly lean (to some) Bitburger or Jever Pilsner.

Drinkable beer with light golden color, small, but good head. Little sweety, little hoppy, light carbonation. A good hoppy aftertaste. Not a big one, but you can drink it easy:)

very light colored pilsner; light aroma; clean and crisp but strong hops in taste and aftertaste; needs more malts blended in; not impressed; would buy other pilsners over this one.

Overall...not bad. Poured golden with a medium head in a pilsner glass. Aroma of pale malt. Taste of malt with a sharp bite of hops.

500ml bottle purchased at Edelweiss in Portland, Oregon--Poured a golden straw clear hue with a big fluffy white head. Nose of spent grains and adjunct ingredients. Bitter spicy and watery. Not so good.

canette de 500ml. belle couleur blé, le collet est d’une blancheur immaculée, la mousse est épaisse et durable, le nez est frais malté, la bouche est piquante, épicée, elle est longue, bon goût malté, rafraichissante à souhait. bonne lager blonde.

Overall a pretty good beer, had it from a can around 5-6 C, had a large head when poured into glass. Palate medium,creamy twinge, flavor was hoppy, slightly bitter.
