yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 10, 2007 On tap. A clear, maybe a bit pale golden pilsner with a nice, white head. The aroma is quite clean and hoppy, with some fruityness and grass. Lightly grainy flavor, with fruits and hoppy bitterness as well. Medium, quite gassy mouthfeel. Grassy, slightly grainy finish with a nice hoppyness. A clean, german pilsner, but the flavor isn’t as nice as the aroma, even though there’s not much difference. The aroma is borderline 6, but not there yet. (070801) Alldaydrinker (557), Norwood, Massachusetts, USA Sep 7, 2007 Pours a golden yellow colour with medium white head. Aroma of hops, grassy and hints of clove. Initial taste of simple malts and hops that are crisp. Nothing complex but a drinkable pilsener. Light body and finishes some what dry. Some head retention and lacing of the glass. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Sep 2, 2007 Pour is a bright yellow with a large white head. Aroma is crisp pils malt with some fresh hops. Flavor is fresh and clean with some nice malts with some tasty hops. One of the best German pils i have had and a friggin bargan at $1.29 a 330ml bottle. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England Aug 26, 2007 330ml bottle. Pours golden with a good white head. Classic pilsner aroma and taste. Dry at first and then the warmth and sweetness of the alcohol comes through. Good finish - not bad overall. Allen (1285), Switzerland Aug 26, 2007 Updated: Aug 26, 2009Bottled 50cl. It pours a clear pale yellow beer with a nicely remaining, fairly big white head. Lots of bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. The nose is of hay, hops and a hint of pineapple. The taste is bready, biscuity and rather herbal. A nice beer with a good hop character. Slightly flat with a metallic touch. A bit oily. The finish is dry biscuity. Ingevara (516), Hindås, Sweden Aug 24, 2007 Fluffy head. Very light yellow. Nice fragrance of classic pilsener. Fullbodied flavor and a very long lasting bitter aroma. One of the best pilseners I’ve tried. malrubius (969), Valley Stream, New York, USA Aug 22, 2007 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Pours bright clear pale yellow. Faint hoppy aroma. Faint light malty taste with clean dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation. Pretty good for a regular German pilsner. Optigon (561), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Aug 14, 2007 Pours clear, yellow. Minor, fine head. Aroma is grassy and mildly skunky. Mouth feel is thin. Flavor is sweet and grassy with a strong bitter hop quality. The bitter hops just stick in your mouth! God! Get them out! Someone please! Get them out!
