mugabe (215), Sweden Jul 19, 2007 Bottle. Light golden, thin head. Aroma a faint whiff of honey. Thin body. Taste is actually quite pleasant - well-balanced bitterness with a touch of creamy hop in the finish. Better than it seems. bhensonb (4189), Woodland, California, USA Jul 18, 2007 Aroma of noble hop with some light crystal malt. Brassy gold color with a white head that filmed. Thin to medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Malt balanced by grassy hop. Nice level of bitter in the dry finish. JesseM (661), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Jul 18, 2007 Updated: Sep 14, 2009500mL can from the LCBO. The new white cans are so much cooler than the old black ones. ’Born at the Royal court of Dresden’ is a pretty cool marketing tag-line too in my opinion as a history geek. Pours a nice shimmering gold with a large white, frothy, perfect German Pilsener head. Aroma is your standard pils malt and noble hops. Flavour is more of the same, nothing extraordinary, but just extremely enjoyable and tasty. Some light biscuit followed by a dry Noble bitterness. As it warms slightly, the aroma opens up big time, and is remarkable. Tons of Noble hoppy goodness. Something about this one just really appeals to me. mephisto (1144), Taiwan Jul 18, 2007 a fresh and well balanced brew, it has beautifully golden body with fluffy white head. the aroma is clean and earthy and the flavor is dry and crispy; it has a nice hop profile. Rune (2765), Tromsø, Norway Jul 15, 2007 500ml bottle. Good white foam, partly lasting. Clear straw coloured. Slightly grassy aroma. More grass in flavour mixed with pale malts. Notes of bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied (Irgertsheim, 22.06.2007). andrewboss (137), New York, USA Jul 13, 2007 Updated: Jul 16, 2008Bottle in Berlin... a solid German pilsner. Doesn’t blow you away with flavor, but has a nice hoppy finish. minch25 (350), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jul 12, 2007 Updated: Sep 26, 2008Bottle in Trier Germany (in the awesome Radeberger glass). Hazy straw blond body, frothy white head. Grassy aroma. Soft but prominent grassy hopping. Very refreshing, I like this a lot, but I wonder if it still tastes this good outside of Germany. mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 5, 2007 [348-20070619] 500mL. Grassy veggie yeast aroma with hints of urine. Clear, yellow body with an initially huge medium-lasting foamy white head. Veggie yeast flavour. Medium body is gravelly. Interesting taste, harsher than expected.
