Aroma is skunky like a green bottle beer. Flavor is also skunky, but also some earthiness that works to offset the skunk. Way better than Heineken but a somewhat subpar beer.

0,33L bottle. Pours straight golden with nice white head. The head stays for a long time. Typical pilsner aroma also some hints of sweetness. Taste: bitter, watery and sweet. Long finish is also sweet and bitter. Lively carbonation. Overall: solid pilsner. A little sweeter than typical, but I like it.

FROM NOTES: October 21, ’12. A: Soft, grassy and slightly herbal hop scents mingle with a mild biscuity aroma. A: Pours a clear, golden straw color with a white, fluffy two-finger head. Good retention. T: Starts with a clean crisp nip with a mild malt sweetness. Nice bitterness and a dry finish. P: Light body with a good carbonation. Very clean, with it was a bit more crisp. O: Overall a good pilsner but it is missing some punch to be great.

Pour out of 16 oz can, clear gold pour with white head, aroma brought notes of cracker, slight bread, hints of biscuit into a bit of grass, slight spice in there as well. Taste is a mix of slight grass, biscuit, hints of cracker, slight earth, finishing bitter, dry.

Bottle. 4.8%. Best before 05.14. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is hops and cereals, a bit milky. Flavour is hoppy, with cereals that feel a bit fat, and turning a bit grainy as it warms. Remote touch of cardboard and a light flowery/grassy note. Medium bitter finish, a wee bit grainy and with a lingering light milky note. Overall okay, if nothing special. 29.11.13.

Golden pour with thin white head. Some sticky lacing on the glass. Grainy, slight malt aroma. Hint of caramel and bakery. A slight whiff of skunk . Hops are light and aftertaste is wimpy. Fair to good. Bottle.

Not very intensive hoppy and bready aroma. Medium but quickly disappearing head. Clear golden body. Good malty base in taste with decent bitterness. High carbonation.

Pours apple juice yellow with a gushing soap suds cap that vanishes faster than my paycheque. The appearance here is a total fail: I remember being in Germany & marvelling at the way they poured thick frothy caps. This pour is impotent. Taste is okay german pilsner but they have so much better to offer than this. Despite what the label says my money is on that nobility doesn’t drink this.
