Pours a very plain yellow color, with a thick but quickly dissipating white head. Smells slightly spicy. Taste is also slightly spicy, but also sort of sour in the finish. There’s some hop presence, maybe a little bit towards the pine end of the spectrum. It has reasonably low carbonation.

On tap at Loreley, in NYC. More golden than the Jevers I had the same trip; I thought it tasty.

Yellow/gold, pillow white head. Nose is crispy hops, lightly toasted malt. Flavor is light toasty malt, slight biscuit, some lemon, Fruit grows in the finish.

Bottle from Jungle Jim’s. Poured a clear pale color with a moderate frothy white head that mostly lasted and had fair lacing. Moderate hoppy grainy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet hoppy flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. This beer did not meet my expectations.

lots of grain, and gassiness in the nose. color is a nice bright golden yellow. quickly dissipating white head. good retention on the glass. nice carbonation, very crisp, your typical pils. Seems to be well made. a good effort.
