Rerate Draught at Ölrepubliken, Göteborg, on October 31, 2009 Clear yellow color, creamy white head. Malty, grainy, sweet, acidic scent. Malty, creamy, dray taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. 5/3/6/3/11=2.8 AjaOki (6), St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada does not count Oct 17, 2006 I bought a few 500 mL cans of this. The only thing really giving it much of an appearance is the massive amount of head it has. Otherwise it’s pretty standard looking.
There’s nothing overly unique about this beer, I like it though. It’s one of the better lagers here, not that we have a great selection. larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Oct 15, 2006
Big shiny white lasting head over yellow body with ongoing carbonation. Light aroma of flour and chalk with a touch of hops and some acidity. Taste is lightly acidic, clean, with well-defined hop profile and clear maltiness, faint apple notes. Dry aftertaste with a touch of hops and some cardboard. Not bad, but could be better. (0.33l bottle.) Stefano (1321), Esbjerg, Denmark Oct 14, 2006 Appearance is light yellow, clear with a faint white wispy head which dissolves quickly. Light hoppy aroma. Flavor is grassy and a bit cardboardy with light biscuit and wisps of fruit. Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Oct 5, 2006 The warning bells go off with the word ’premium’. Rightly so too. Another of those boring euro lagers that are a produced clone-like all over the continent. Unexciting in the presentation and taste, just another beer. mkobes (2103), paramus, New Jersey, USA Oct 4, 2006 On tap at HDG. Yellow and clear in color with a nice white fluffy head. Hoppy and malty aroma. Earthy, piney hops. Malty hoppy flavor. Sweet tasting. Clean mouthfeel. Flinish is bitter. Crisp and refreshing. Decent beer. Drinkable. TheJester (694), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Sep 26, 2006 500 mL can. (Why is this a "premium lager" - it says "Pilsner" on the can?) Golden with thick foamy head which gradually reduces. Smells like . . . green. Hops, I guess, but sweeter. Heavily carbonated. Dry - bitter in a good way. Watery in a bad way. Sweetens as it warms. Not much else. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 3, 2006 Bottle. Small white head. Clear yellow body. Hops aroma and flavor. Ordinary but what you would expect.
