beer D (537), Poland Jun 3, 2006 Golden colour, medium thick head. Rich, grainy and hoppy taste with very strong bitterness, especially at the end. Exactly what I expect from a good, bitter plisener. GG (1613), NorCal, California, USA May 22, 2006 On tap at West Coast Brew Fest: Aroma of hops, slightly grassy and some yeast. Nice clear yellow gold color, nice fluffy head. Mouthfeel is slightly carbonated but still light enough. Flavors were sweet, herbal and clean. Nothing really to brag about but no complaints here either. wanderingman (54), Guelph, Ontario, Canada May 13, 2006 500ml can: Pours golden with a pure white head that last and great carbonation bubbles. Tastes as a lager should; Crisp and clean with a good balance of malt and hops. Flavour is not too heavy, but very refreshing. A dry finish with no lingering aftertaste. Great lager after a long hot day at work. jtw (942), farmington, Michigan, USA May 9, 2006 light gold/yellow liquid from the bottle with a thin lasting white head. clean slightly malty aroma, with a balancing hops presence - typical lager aroma. predictable flavor as well; clean, light, barely grassy and grainy, and medium dry finish. refreshing at best unfortunately. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA May 1, 2006 Draft. Light golden beer with a nice white head. Grassy aroma. Very grassy flavor with some sweet malt backing. Dry, prickly hops. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Apr 29, 2006 Updated: Jun 3, 2008Bottle. One of the good German Pilsners out there. Has nice head retention and lacing. Nice dough in the aroma, finishes crisp. Sigmund (2197), Hafrsfjord, Norway Apr 28, 2006 On tap in Berlin. Pale golden colour, decent head. Moderate flowery hoppy aroma. Average pilsener flavour, tolerable hops, but not really remarkable.
