Radeberger Pilsner

The usual yellow with white head. A resounding thump of bitterness from this one. A pleasant surprise.

Bottle from Radeberg. Pours beautifully. Light golden color with a thick white head. Very mild aroma. Slightly spicy flavor with a moderate bitter taste. Enjoyable.

bottle from Saarlander, thanks Aaron. very pale yellow gold with a nice sized white head settling down to decent lace. mild floral aroma with a very mild flavor of malt and hops. drinkable for the style, but nothing special.

Not quite golden, clear body with a medium size white head. Aroma came across slightly grainy and a little soapy. Taste has pleasant bitterness with a hint of corn and oily grapefruit hops. Simple but decent enough to drink.

The Lure:
A lingering head shrouds the mild fruitiness and dormant haystack. Cereal sweetness eventually surfaces, but nothing here makes me want to take the plunge.

The Festivities:
Toasted malt flavors dwell in a crisp body which seems to lack some girth. Or maybe the carbonation is too important for my tastes. Either way, a partial flavor void is created, as delicate grassy hops and their wooden bitterness build in the last half, attracting dryness. An easy pint to down.

Transcendence:
Burp.

500 Cm3 bottle - December 2005 Pours light golden with a big frothy head, that diminishes to a fine size. Aroma is grainy and malty, which is Ok. Taste is bittersweet, gentle but not watery. Afterstaste is short but pleasant. Nothing remarkable, but not bad neither.

500ml can, bright pale yellow color, with a frothy white head, toasty pale malt, grassy and hay aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp, smooth pale malt flavor, with a dry earthy flowery hops note, leading towards a dry bitter finish. A nice pilsner.

Staw colored with a small fizzy head. Aroma is pleasant with malt, notes of herb and grass. Flavor is crisp and clean with citrus notes and slightly spicy.
