BeerMountie (106), Bonavista, Newfoundland, Canada Nov 25, 2005 500ml can. light straw yellow head which quickly reduces to a small ring. Good aroma and taste. This is one of the better beers available in Newfoundland. Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada Nov 12, 2005 Robe blonde très claire surmontée d’une mousse blanche épaisse. Arômes de malt et de houblon. Saveurs de carton et de houblon amérisant. tiggmtl (4307), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Nov 11, 2005 Fresh, strong, spicy, herbal, grassy hop aroma with some clean, underlying malt backbone. Clear golden body is topped by a tall, frothy, large bubbled, white head that laces as it recedes to ring. Strong, crisp bitterness with decent, fresh malt body and herbal and spicy hop character. Somewhat metallic in the finish. Gets fairly sweet and a bit sticky if allowed to warm. Light-medium body with lively effervescence that is unfortunately short-lived. Lager glass. Fridge temperature. Can (LCBO, May-05). Quaffer (4), Ireland does not count Nov 8, 2005 Well, you just gotta dig it this amber nectar.
Its crisp, got weight and a whole lot of character! altkencru (143), USA Nov 1, 2005 I thought this was pretty good. Considerably different than the dry German Pilseners I prefer. madquacker (706), Canberra ACT, Australia Oct 29, 2005 A very fine pils. Strawy with a good lot of salt at the end. A very pleasant suprise. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 28, 2005 Pour is straw golden yellow and slightly hazed with a nice bright tight bubbled off white head...smell is a little grainy and earthy with a slight vegetal aroma, but good...taste is lingeringly sweet and the beer seems almost still in the mouth...cirus, lemons etc. are there...not bad... wpp83 (64), Athens, Georgia, USA Oct 8, 2005 Very buttery flavor. Had this one in a bottle thanks to a friend just back from germany. Good little beer.
