weepingsuds (222), Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA Jul 4, 2005 Tap. Normally not a big fan of German Pils, but this was decent. I think a pils from the tap is significantly better than from a bottle. This was not out of the ordinary, but it was complete, not watered down, and not overly hoppy,. bmxutos (161), Lisboa, Portugal Jun 23, 2005 Bottle, 33cl. I usually don’t like pilsners and Radeberger wasn’t an exception. Clear yellow colour, white head that doesn’t last long. Very bitter, dry and mettalic for my taste, the finish is almost painful! I wasn’t expecting much about this one and unfortunatelly i was right.... rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden Jun 23, 2005 Pale yrellow, white head. Hoppy grassy aroma. Quite weak hoppy flavor. Quite thin, but an ordinary german pils. travismills (37), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Jun 22, 2005 Nice Golden colour. I normally dislike beer in a can, but the bitter taste, semi-negated the aluminum. Overall decent pilsner. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England Jun 19, 2005 Draught, for breakfast somewhere dodgy but nice in Hamburg.
Pale golden beer with far too many bubbles for me at that time of the day. Crisp standard pilsner. I little to champagne dry for me on the day.
Damage (77), London, Ontario, Canada Jun 18, 2005 Pour a clear straw colour with a frothy cap and decent lacing. A grassy nose precedes the doughy, bitter hops flavour consistent through the finish. A good, dry German pils. (500ml can) pivnizub (4949), Bochum, Porúří, Germany Jun 16, 2005 Clear golden, medium sized, fluffy, lasting head; bready, malty nose, moderate bitter flavour, thin-bodied; unpleasant bitter-metallic aftertaste; down the drain ! In the old glory days of "DDR" Radeberger was the only brewery to use high-class czech barley and hops: Those were the days..... beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA May 23, 2005 The dominating beer of the Saxon region. Ubiquitous for Dresden. So much so that people think the opera house is the Radeberger brewery from adverts on TV. Delicious as a rounds beer.
