rosenbergh (843), Helsinki, Finland Jun 20, 2009 500 ml bottle. From Tallinn, Estonia.
Clear golden colour with medium-size head.
Straw, grain and malt in aroma. Same with the flavour plus some hoppy bitterness. hobbersr (393), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Jun 17, 2009 Pours a pale yellow with a tinge of green and has a frothy white head. Aroma is a full on Saaz assault. Musty, oily, apples, grain and spice. This beer tastes like when I had to shovel out grain bins as a kid on the farm. Musty dusty grain with spice and a hint of green apple. Decent bitterness. No adjuncts present, I like that. Soft mouth feel. Decent pil. TheHulk (106), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Jun 16, 2009 There really isn’t any aroma and my friend remarked that it looked like a tall glass of piss, which it mostly does. There is a surprising hop flavour that isn’t too strong but really doesn’t seem like it belongs in something so clear and only slightly yellow. The hops flavour passes quickly and your moth is left almost the same as it was before you had a drink. Refreshing! Great in the heat. DeadGirl (192), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Jun 14, 2009 Updated: Oct 18, 2009Draught at RNH (NYC): Pours a light, clear yellow. Thin head. Crisp bitterness with a faint aftertaste. Classic feel, but mediocre at best. #013 on 14062009, DG. Jukkabro (2990), Tampere, Finland Jun 6, 2009 Dark yellow colored, huge white head. Nice floral and hopped aroma with good fruits. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is softer in fruity start, aftertaste turns to hopped with fruits still. Bitterness lasts. Good pils. italarican (157), Astoria, New York, USA May 31, 2009 Poured a faint golden yellow with light head. Aroma of apricots and hops. Tastes of apricot, grapefruit, and hops. Slightly bitter. Light body. Doesn’t stick to the palate for very long. I definitely enjoyed it. thewombat (112), Brooklyn, New York, USA May 29, 2009 Draft. A light yellow, very clear brew, head settles fast. Not very carbonated, taste is mild, light, and grainy. Crisp and refreshing. You get what you expect with this beer, a normal, classic pils. harbuck76 (127), El Cajon, California, USA May 24, 2009 500 ml bottle poured into lightning pils glass.Pours a cler golden with nice fluffy head .nice lacing.
