jstraw (750), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 23, 2009 Clear gold with good, foamy white head / Nose of grain with light honey note / Light to medium body, crisp with good balance and dry finish / Clean, relatively big and slightly floral flavors of grain, with faint honey notes / A fine pils. delnoche (212), Germany May 22, 2009 50cl bottle poured into a footed pilsner. Clear golden color with nice frothy white head. Very clean hop aroma. Taste is also very clean and hoppy. A lot of lacing. Pretty good brew for a pils. donfardz64 (406), Wellington, New Zealand May 21, 2009 500mL can from Regional. Pours pale golden, with a nice fluffy white head.
Some grass, citrus and honey on the aroma.
Flavour is quite bitter in the mid palate, quite a grassy hop. A nice honey like malt sweetness which balances the bitterness well.
Overall I’d say the flavour is simple enough to be a highly sessionable pilsener, but has enough depth to keep one coming back for more. Beerme (20), Seattle, Washington, USA May 8, 2009 Bottle from The Beer Authority, poured a clear golden color with a thin head and excellent lacing. Very light body that defies a wonderful grain flavor. Tight finish. bgiamatei (225), São Paulo, Brazil May 6, 2009 Boa Pilsen, legítima. Espuma branca de boa formação. Carbonada. Amaralo claro, um pouco puxada ao ouro.Bonita garrafa. Cheiro lupulado bem gostoso.Sabor predominantemente amargo, com um retrogosto longo. Bom corpo. nickd717 (1276), Palo Alto, California, USA May 6, 2009 Sampled at SF International Beer Fest. What can I say, it’s a pilsner. Yellow color, white head. Aroma is grainy with pale malt. Flavor is the same, slight grassy hops. Fairly thin palate. Incredibly average. alexanderj (2213), Chino Hills, California, USA Apr 29, 2009 Bottle from Bevmo; 4th of the style I believe. Very clear, somewhat pale gold/yellow. Aroma was bready, sweet, with some earth/grass. Decent flavor. Bread and hay, with some earthy/grassy hops in the finish. I found it fairly dry. An ok beer overall.
