UPDATED: OCT 17, 2008 Bottle from BevMo. Medium golden in color upon pouring. Moderate grainy aroma. A tad sour. Fairly average pils. Some grain and a little bitter. A little lacking in flavor, but still fairly crisp and clean.

Pours a fairly translucent bright yellow. Little head and little carbonation. Weak aroma smells very fruity, kind of like lemon. Tastes more sweet and more bitter than other pilseners I have tried. Palate is smooth with a light body. A little too bitter for me.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2008 Pours a golden yellow with a big billowy white head that retains well and coats the glass. Aroma is boiled corn and bread dough. The taste is standard German pils - - pale malt sweetness and moderate hop bitterness. As I said, it’s standard, not great but not bad. Quite refreshing.

Bottle. Long lasting head and lacing. Very clean, soapy and sharp taste. Decent hoppiness. Somewhat boring, not much going on here except the bitter aftertaste which seems to last.

yellow pale straw color, good amount of white foam, grassy nose flavor starts malty then the slight hops finish i think some corn in there just for the mix. kinda boring

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2010 500 ml can. a middle of the road german pilsner. drinkable with all the typical flavours in balance. a bit thin and underwhelming.///////////////////re-rate 020810. now that i really dig pilsners i find this beer to be quite good. lean pils malt body and plenty of nobel german hops. tight bitter finish. recommended.

On Tap at Old Chicago : Very clear light yellow pour that has a ok finger white head but leaves nice lacing around the glass. Nose of malts and grain. Taste was mostly sweet malts. Palate was a little watery but was very crisp and had a minor hop bite toward the end.

from a 500ML Bottle. Pours straw yellow with a normal head. There were notes of light grains on the nose with a herbal flavor and a sharp hop finish. It did drink on a crisp note.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2011 Clear, bubbling yellow with a large frothy white head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy, some alcoholic presence. Flavor of hops with citrusy notes. Slightly bitter ending. While in NYC I forgot I had this already and paid $7 for a pint glass. It was in Times Square while my kids were in the Harry Potter exhibit. Next door is a bowling alley with a sports bar with expensive beer I found out. It’s still just an average Pils.
