3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Drank this one at Wartburg Castle at Eisenach, Germany. From a bottle. Golden yellow wtih a medium white head. Not a lot of anything here. Everything seemed muted down making it a blt bland. This was a very average pils compared to some of the wonderful ones I had seen up to this point on my German beer tasting expedition.
I found this again at a hotel south of Dresden. This time it came on draft. Much better than the bottle. Need to update my rating.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2013 Re rating: Pale golden body with a white head. Light aroma of pale malt with a hint of grassy and floral hops. Flavor is light malty, some fruitiness and discrete bitterness. Quite average pilsner flavor actually and not bad at all. But not very exiting either.
500ml can. Pale golden color with thin white head. A relatively neutral pilsner with a fear mix of harmonic sweet malt profile and hop character. Spoilt a bit from a long lasting metallic aftertaste.

500ml can from la SAQ. Pale yellow, no head. Aroma is grsssy and herbal. Taste is pretty bitter for a pils with herbal notes, pretty harsh. Thin to medium body.

Golden colour, medium thick head. Rich, grainy and hoppy taste with very strong bitterness, especially at the end. Exactly what I expect from a good, bitter plisener.

On tap at West Coast Brew Fest: Aroma of hops, slightly grassy and some yeast. Nice clear yellow gold color, nice fluffy head. Mouthfeel is slightly carbonated but still light enough. Flavors were sweet, herbal and clean. Nothing really to brag about but no complaints here either.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml can: Pours golden with a pure white head that last and great carbonation bubbles. Tastes as a lager should; Crisp and clean with a good balance of malt and hops. Flavour is not too heavy, but very refreshing. A dry finish with no lingering aftertaste. Great lager after a long hot day at work.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
light gold/yellow liquid from the bottle with a thin lasting white head. clean slightly malty aroma, with a balancing hops presence - typical lager aroma. predictable flavor as well; clean, light, barely grassy and grainy, and medium dry finish. refreshing at best unfortunately.
