UPDATED: MAR 9, 2008 500 mL can: Typical of many European pilsners at LCBO all indistinguishable from one another. Would I rush out & buy this again? Not likely. Would I turn this down? No, it has its stengths. Typical pils - very light golden colour, quickly vanishing white head. Tastes a little too thin & sour but nice malts really round out the finish, whiich was unexpected. I donít love pilsners, but this had something good about it.

Pours a clear shiny gold color. Head is big, frothy white with good retention. It leaves a medium lacing. Aroma is hoppy with notes of grass, flowers, fresh herbs, mint and some cedar with a little of citrus. Very fresh and nice. Flavor is soft but with high hoppy presence. It has medium bitterness with lemony and slightly metallic hints. It ends with some astringency, but itís light and refreshing. Pretty watery texture, high carbonation. Rather smooth with the alcohol unnoticeable. Thin to medium body. This bottle had a good lager, but nothing more in it. Probably not in the best shape.

Bought in my trip to Mendoza, Argentina

Clean flow, slight hop impact.A typical Geman lager.A perfect lawn mower brew.Bravo to all Germans who support their LOCAL brewerys.Worth seeking in the Dresden area.4.8% is the perfect alc/vol.If u go higher the beer is too sweet. My cousin always has 5 cases in the garage in Arnsdorf.

Pours golden with a huge foamy head. Aroma is faint but of pale malts. Taste is more malty and seems closer to a helles than a pilsner. Either way decent beer, but doesnít really stand out in any way.

Beer 42 Summer 2006 trip in Europe. Drank on 7/6/06 at my hotelís bar (Flemingís Hotel Bar) in Frankfurt. Draft inot a .3L glass. Although this is not a fantastic beer it was really nice having it in this instance. It was a rainy night, I was havingthis beer with some chocolate mouse, while listening to some covers on the stereo. Bitter is my overall impression.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2007 Quite dry but not too bitter. I donít really know what to make of this beer, didnít really taste like anything while I had it. I may have to try another one to make up my mind. So far not my choice of german pils. Edit: This is better than I first rated, but itís not the tastiest of pilseners. (Original score 2.3).
