Location: Draft in a big ole liter mug at Zeppelin Hall, 4/1/11
Aroma: The nose is fairly simple, notes include grains, grass, malts, toast
Appearance: It pours a golden-yellow color with a nice white head on it
Flavor: Taste is medium sweet, and light-medium bitter, lacking freshness/crispness
Palate: The mouthfeel is alright, but it is lacking that crisp, clean pils feel, ends somewhat dry
Overall Impression:
Obviously I’ve had this one before, so I was pretty surprised that I’d never posted a rating for this one, but it is a pretty forgettable beer, so I guess it isn’t a huge surprise that I forgot about it. Not a terrible beer, drinkable but unremarkable sums it up pretty well.

Tap at Beer Kitchen. Clear, straw, golden looking. Some smell but faint. The only real distinguished quality in taste is the mentholly after taste when it warms. So atleast it does have something distinct about it.

On tap at the Commadore in Brooklyn. Pours pale gold with a fairly minimal head. Nose is mild, grassy hops with slight floral notes and hints of sweet malt. Similar taste, with a bland, bready sweetness showing a bit more than the hops. Damn refreshing though. Great afternoon summer pils.
