johnnygm (38), Santiago, Chile Apr 6, 2009 Looks very pale, and has a low carbonation. Nice aroma, but the flavor is weak. There is some cereal, but there bitterness at the end, almost metallic. However it’s better than most macro lagers. TheSponge (272), Lynnwood, Washington, USA Apr 6, 2009 500ml bottle purchased at Food Emporium in Everett, WA. Pours a pale golden yellow with a foamy white head. Flavor: Crisp, clean, with a slight bitterness. popkow (107), New York, New York, USA Apr 5, 2009 Draught with golden yellow color with tan head into pint glass. Malty, bitter, and light aftertaste. rozsoma (43), Győr, Hungary Apr 4, 2009 Updated: Aug 19, 2009Has a sparkling yellow color with frothy white head, which is mostly diminishing. Initial flavour is sweet malty, a bit alhoholic. Solid carbonation, light to medium body, and dry, bitter, short aftertaste. A quite good pils. drpimento (796), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Apr 1, 2009 Kind of interesting. Got this bottle at the nearby Supermercado Disco here in Recoleta, Buenos Aires. 2nd bottle in on the shelf. Served it chilled, but not cold. Poured with a nice white head that went down to a light partial cover and some lace. Clear gold color. Aroma is beery, a faint whiff of skunk when first poured, some malt, grass, grain, hop, and light fresh sawdust. Flavor had the barest hint of skunk that disappeared right away. Not too bad bitter sweet thing but the sweetness is without character. Good body and carbonation. Drinkable. Better nearer to the brewery and fresher no doubt. I’d have another. smooch (95), Sylvania, Ohio, USA Mar 21, 2009 Nothing special here. Mild, unremarkable flavor. I had in a blind tasting with some others and this was a very weak offering. riversideAK (2650), Shoreline, Washington, USA Mar 18, 2009 Grassy nose, a touch of bready malt sweetness. Pours golden with big bubbles and a thin head. Crisp refreshing pils with light bread and grassy hop notes. UnholyBrewing (448), Melbourne(Mulgrave), Australia Mar 18, 2009 ...can. DIdn’t pour it, so I can’t comment on that. Had a nice organic nose, with hop and malt notes. Went down well, light bodied, with a nice malt flavor. FInished crisp and clean, with hoppy notes at the end, a decent brew, but what to expect from those Germans, they know beer.
