bottle pours clear light gold with good white head that settles but lingers with some lacing . aroma is grainy grassy and skunky . taste is a let down - crisp and dry but has an unpleasant bitterness and the worst of the taste lingers long after . medium carbonation sorry but much better versions of this style are available

This pilsner starts with a hoppy bitterness then switches to a minor malty sweetness that sticks around. Well carbonated, with a nice microhead and lace. After taste is very pleasant.

On draft with lunch at the Frankfurt airport. Pale yellow fizzy white head. Mild flavors with crisp clean finish... Decent Pils.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked 062014-L156/13. Basic pale yellow pour with a white fizzy head. Yup, looks like a pilsener. Aroma of grains, German malts, and mild hops. The body is light to medium but there is a creamy feel to it. Pilseners are hard for me to love but I don’t hate them and this is no different than so many German pilseners out there with the grainy malt character and clean hop\o finish.

I’ve draught and bottle in Germany. This old-school pils represents beautifully a slightly harsh, yet balanced pilsner. Deeper in colour than most of it’s rivals, it delivers a fuller-bodied all-day-everyday-beer. German style.

Draught. Pours a clear golden color with a moderate white head on there. Nose has a lot of corn and grains on it, but is thankfully fairly light. Taste is slightly bitter, light and crisp, which was a pleasant surprise. I liked it more than I thought I would.

Aroma: More lemony than grassy, pale, lightly crackery malts. Appearance: Pale, clear gold body with a foamy white head that settled into a white skin. Flavor: Lemony with some grass to follow; malts come in a bit more toward the finish and are lean but pleasant. Palate: Light body, slick texture, soft carbonation, bitter, dryish finish. Overall: A respectable baseline Pils.

Pours a clear lager-golden color with barely even a white ring. Cinnamon, cinnamon, cinnamon on the nose. Wet, slick mouthfeel, that dries out just the slightest at the finish. Freezer burned cardboard ice cream box flavor. This is shameful.

Unter den Standardbieren noch eins der besseren. Optisch coole Flasche mit Relief und Alufolie.
