Another one of the beers I brought back from my recent trip to Germany, the only one which was half litre though.  Poured into a tall wide glass, light golden yellow colour and a two finger head, with some bubbles rising to the top. Aroma is the usual for pilseners malts. Taste is quite bitter, the hops really kick in once you swalloed it. Thin in body with medium carbonation, and a bit dry. I found it quite average, although it comes in a bottle with lots of golden colours on the label and a golden foil on the neck, so I expected it to be one bit more "premium".

Aroma and taste are classic German pilsner. I didn’t know what to expect from this beer, but I really enjoyed it.

From Hipercor. In Legado de Yuste glass. Watching Game of Thrones 5x06. A bit better bitterness than in the avarage pilsner but nothing special.

Pours a clear pale straw topped by a finger of bright white head showing good retention but leaving no lacing. The nose is grainy, bready malts, fresh grassy hops. The taste is representative of the nose and gives what you would expect from a German Pils. Perceptible mineral element right off the bat. Crisp feel from the carbs, the hops give it a grassy finish with a touch of acidity. Light, refreshing and more tasty than your average macro lager. Cheers!

Bottle. Good white head. Aroma: more hoppy than malty. Taste: malt, a small sour, hop bitter and dry finish.

33 cl bottle from Consum supermarket Albir Spain. Pours straw yellow with a soon fading white head. Typical light tasting lager from Germany. Small on taste and aroma but refreshing.

Pours a nice golden body with a weak head. A crisp pilsner taste with a bit of a bitter finish. Not the biggest fan of simple Pilsners, but this one definitely has more character than a lot of German macro brews. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

the aroma is malty and herbal with some hints of buckwheat and honey... the taste is malty, rather clear and refreshening, with some notes of grasses and grain... smooth hoppy bitterness... dry and bitter aftertaste...

Famous beer from the former East Germany. It was better once. Nice on nose, good look, but everything else is just nothing special. Still among the better in its class. Light and not offensive at all. Produced for those who can drink liters in one night.

500ml bottle. Pours pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is malt, biscuit, hops. Taste is the same. Enjoyable bitterness in the finish. Clean and refreshing pilsener. Interesting fact: this is reportedly Putin’s favourite beer.

3’s across the board for this awful stuff, mostly because I couldn’t care less to put an effort into rating this swill. Metallic, straw, corn almost pour out worthy. Bleh
