App.: Clear golden with a decent white froth.
Aroma: Lots of wet, fresh hay, a little grassy hops, some light fruity, malts, some grain and cereal.
Palate: Medium body and carbonation, not as smooth as expected.
Flav.: Lighter than the nose, still some peppery, grassy hops, less of the wet hay, more nondescript cereal/grain; dry, lightly bitter with a mineral finish.
Pleasant but blah.

Dec 21, 2005 bottle from Saarlander, thanks Aaron. very pale yellow gold with a nice sized white head settling down to decent lace. mild floral aroma with a very mild flavor of malt and hops. drinkable for the style, but nothing special.

Oct 24, 2003 Straw golden body, fizzy white head. Light grassy aroma. Saaz hoppy flavor, too much on the light side. Slightly sour finish.

May 2, 2005 Canned. Poured out a clear pale straw pilsner with an impressive fluffy white cap that laces the glass well..... very light nose; gentle grassy aromas with diminutive wisps of sweet grains. Starts malty and citrusy then the hop bittering takes over the malt spine ( which is too thin IMHO) and it ends in a dry bitter finish. I can take or leave this one...with more substantially malted, distinctive German beers like Konig, Wernesgruner and Gosser on the LCBO shleves for the same coin why would they offer this marginally premiun beer?

Sep 17, 2007 Clear, bubbling yellow with a large frothy white head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy, some alcoholic presence. Flavor of hops with citrusy notes. Slightly bitter ending.

Jul 31, 2009 Drink while taking a break on at the castle that looks down on Barcelona, Spain. Slight hazy yellow color with foamy white head. Aroma pretty mellow, slight grassiness and some sweetness. Flavor has a nice medium body, good saazy hop presence, then switches to a roasted malt flavor, bit smokey. Different flavor. Very enjoyable.

Dec 31, 2004 Clear, Gold with white head. Slight hops in a mostly cereal nose. This was better a few nights ago when I was eating Kimchee, after two good Triples, it doesn’t do anything for me tonight. To be fairto this beer, my rating will be from a few days ago.
