It’s gold with a big, lasting white head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma is yeast, grain, pine and grapefruit. The taste is nice malty grain , yeast, with strong malty sweetness balanced by nice pine bitterness, leaving a crisp, light, dry finish. It’s smooth, tasty, and very nice. pobenohne (504), Northern Liberties, Pennsylvania, USA

Surprised to see this on the beer list - drank many back in Berlin in the early 90s, but haven’t seen this in the US. Solid, crisp, clean, dry, bitter, straight up pilsener. Excellent example of the style. Delirium (502), Santa Cruz, California, USA

Aroma is grassy with a bit of pilsener hops. Flavor is smooth, understated malt body with a little grassiness and hops. Not bad, though not too interesting either. This brew was bigger in body than the aroma suggested, with a soft and dryish malty flavor, and although it wasn't the hoppiest pils I've ever had, the beer seemed in really good shape and had a crisp freshness to it.
