I believe Radeberger is chock full of Saaz hops. It gives the pilsner a mint flavor to it. Golden body with lacing throughout the sample. Probably an enjoyable beer on an August afternoon in Dresden.

Aug 15, 2008 Bottle. Pale yellow colour with large creame white mostly lasting head. Hoppy aroma. sweet hoppy flavor. Bitter finish.

Aug 14, 2008 (Bottle). A decent, but not outstanding, German Pils. Aroma is grass, hay, and some malt. Flavor is smooth and balanced, and a bit of hops, refreshing but not particularly memorable. I suspect that the German nobility, if motivated, could do a lot better.

Aug 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden straw colour with white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, grass and pilsner malt. Flavor is much of the same. However I do not like the aftertaste. Another argument as to why I don’t like pilsners...

Aug 1, 2008 Clear straw-coloured beer with a fine white head. Faint grassy, spicy noble hop aroma with a lot of grainy pils malt. Flavour is a bit of grass with more grainy malt, offset by a fair bit of toothsome crisp sulfate hop bitterness. Extremely refreshing, light on the palate, goes down nicely. I’d have liked more hop aroma, but still, this is a real German pils.
