2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught at the Radeberger Spezialausschank Dresden: Pale greenish-golden, hazy, medium-sized white creamy foam; unripe dry grassy and yeasty nose; dry bitter flavour, fizzy, light bodied; dry light grassy-bitter finish with a touch of vegetables. A dash of yeast really doesn’t make this swill-Pilsener better............

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
draught at the Radeberger Spezialausschank on the Terrassenufer in Dresden. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Lovely resiny-herbal hoppy nose. Full-bodied, solid malty base with hints of honey and caramel. Lovely hop flavours blend in, with a grassy-resiny touch. A shy fruity-yeasty touch is in the lingering hoppy finish. Bitter-sweet, almost Bohemian in character. A delicious beer, in no way comprable to the normal Radeberger. Is it really just unfiltered Radeberger, or isn’t this a completely different beer? Anyway, it’s absolutely delicious and very moreish!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at the Brauerei-Ausschank Kaiserhof in Radeberg. Looks really good in the glass, modest turbid, creamy head. Starts mild, a bit sweet fruity like lemon. Finish is a bit malty-yeasty without being too dry. Well balanced finish and very drinkable. Much better than the regular Radeberger!

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2007 (Pub close to the brewery). Oh wow, why don’t they bottle it like this? Beautifully cloudy looks, very bitter and heavily hopped with huge mouthfeel. Lingers around in your mouth for quite a while. Pretty far from a basic pils, maybe more like a saison or a heavily hopped ale. I would buy this if it was available in stores.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sold and brewed at the Radeberger brewhouse/biergarten on the riverside promenade in Altstadt, Dresden. Brewing tanks in the basement. Enjoyable alternative to the regular R. Pils, has a lot more body to it and works excellently with food... seems to certainly soak up its own flavor as being unfiltered. Sunny days, sunny days.
