750ml bottle from LCBO, Parkway Mall, Scarborough, ON. 7.5 alc. / vol. Pours a clear deep golden colour with 2 finger of white head. Lacing clinging to the side of the glass. Fruity aroma with notes of wine, some Belgian yeast, strawberries, and oranges. After the high level of carbonation settles in my mouth, I get lots of spiciness, and some bananas. I’m a big fan of Belgian golden ales and this one is definitely in my top 5 as far this style goes.

750 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is wheat, spices. Taste is same, plus a touch of citrus. Pretty good.

750 ml Bottle. Deep gold pour, big frothy white head, lots of lacing. nice aroma, grainy malt, yeast. Taste is more graininess and the pinot flavor is definitely present. overall fairly nice.

Was actually really surprise by this. I thought all the money was spent on the packaging but this was a really good beer. Big foamy long lasting head with a nice citrus aroma.

[6065-20131119] Bottle. Straw lemon aroma. Hazy, light brown orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Light citrus and grainy flavour. Medium body. Good, simple. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Pours cloudy tangerine with a fuzzy silver crown. An interesting local take on the style that offers candied citrus, slight pepper & a clear essence of the wine barrel. Brisk & refreshing. Maybe a bit too sugary than it could be. Pretty damn good but hard to recommend given the far too steep price.

Pours deep golden yellow with a big frothy white top. Aroma is bready grain with yeast and a small oak. Taste is a well balanced grain malts, light yeast. The pinot barrels is hard to pick out.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a large foamy head with quite good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of vinous notes with lightly sweet malt notes with some residual grapes notes also identifiable. Taste is also dominated by light sweet notes with remarkable vinous notes which are well balance against some residual sugar notes. Grapes notes are also noticeable. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable overall with very solid balanced of all the flavours.

Better than expected bottle from LCBO. Decent golden, with controlled edge from the wine. I think it depended on the bottle, and mine hit it. Big foamy head.

Fresh, strong, a bit sour. Very good food beer to cut heat or to cut fat. One of my favourite belgian style beer I have had. Would not hesitate to buy again,
