2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 jsquire (2957) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JAN 9, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Pale yellow color with a short lived white head. Canned corn nose. This is a light beer with lots of corn flake flavors, with some cracker and lemon peel. Pretty crisp but a little thick in the finish. It is good for a brewpub version of a macro lager, but I don’t know why they just don’t sell the Bud Light...

Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Nose is light malt, grain, a hint of esters, and a hint of yeast. Flavor is similar- grainy for a pale lager, light malt, sweet, and a hint of yeast. This is one of the first pale lagers I actually ordered, and did not just come with a paddle. Nice light lager- enjoyable for what it is.

On tap at the Ragtime brewpub. Pours clear pure gold with virtually no head. The aroma emits soft notes of floral hops and some graininess. The taste is crisp with a nice mix of fresh floral hops and grains. It thins out midway and to the finish with the grains, floral hops and spicy hops keeping the slick yet thin malty sweetness in check.

Tap @ brewpub.
pours golden, thin white head.
Aroma, some citrus hops, grainy and sweet corn.
Flavor, citrus hops, light malts, medium-high carbonation. Some hints of corn sweetness. Finish is sweet and crisp though overall, it is just too watery.

Pale, light straw, no head. Clean enough, but very bland. Not any different than any other low-end brewpub light.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Beershine (5173) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - FEB 13, 2009
Pale golden with hardly any head. Sweet grainy aroma. High carbonation level. Quaffable but thin. Slight stickiness at the end. What I’d expect, only better, is a very refreshing pale lager with no taste issues. Listed as 3.3%.
