Ragtime Tavern Honey Bock

Draft at Ragtime. Poured clear dark amber color with an average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted nutty malty aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium balanced toasted flavor with a medium bittersweet alcohol finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew that met my expectations.

The aroma has orange blossoms, honey and lots of fusel alcohol notes. The body is gold/yellow and holds a thinnish white head. Dry, spent honey notes in the fore with a big blast of alcohol. Very reminiscent of Orange Blossom Pilsner but with much more alcohol. Some light sweet fruit notes in the finish and vague hints of toasted wheat cakes.
