Commercial Description:
Blind Salamander Pale Ale is a blend of the finest pale malts and East Kent Goldings hops. The fine balance of these toasted caramel malts and earthy hops makes Blind Salamander an easy drinking and satisfying ale.

I’m not a big pale ale fan, but I did like this brew. Thanks to a friend at the brewery for letting me try the Blind Salamander. It had the East Kent Goldings hoppy aroma and the ECM is on the dark for the style. A significant amount of Special B malt yields a significant caramely flavor, and it was smooth on my palate. Overall this is an above average beer for this style and you should defiantly try it considering its "rare breed" status.

Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o garthicus. Pours a hazy deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma and flavour are vegetal along with lightly toasted caramel malt, grain and light grassy hops. Light bitter finish. Average bodied. Not bad but not very good.

Thanks Cavie for sending. Pours a clear red orange with a two finger creamy sandstone head. Nose is malty, sweet, shows some peanut hull, mild grassy character. Flavor presents a good balance between malt and hops, very mild bitterness, crisp, peanut hull flavor, not much discernible character. palate is full with a mildly dry finish

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a small tan head. Aroma is light breadish malty and roasted, light spice note. Mild sourish touch in the flavour alongside and sweet and slight herbal sensation. Bitter and light roasted flavoured finish. Somewhat off - still decent.

Bottle: Dark caramel color with a thin beige head. Nose is sweet and malty, very little citrus hops. Tastes more malty than anything with a very light bitterness. Peat, smoke, and florals. Wtf? Rather earthy stuff going on here...

Bottle: Dark amber, light head and lacing. Nose of light citrus and earth. Light and pale, vague hops and semi-sweet pale malt. Thin and lame with some distant fruit. Eh. A pale ale.
