Commercial Description:
Warm up the long, cold nights of winter with Rahr's latest seasonal offering. Wonderfully robust, rich and full-bodied, Rahr's Winter Warmer is crated in the fine British tradition of holiday ales. Perfect for either holiday gatherings or quiet evenings at home.

High carbonation. Fake nutty aroma. Rather poor, dry, lightly spicy flavor.

A rich malt heavy ale. Fruity and sweet, somewhat caramelly. A tough rough, though, with a notable alcohol/grainy finish. Full palate.

Pours a dark brown with a nice tan head that had staying power. Very typical aroma for the style, but not exactly rich. i like the flavor, with a warm malty backbone. Roasted nut notes, with a spice cake thrown in. Needed more body, but other than that nicely done.

Pours with a largish, rocky, light brown head covering a mahogony body. Nutty aroma with cinnamon, and nutmeg highlights. Spicey, nutty, sweet, and watery taste. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel. Reminds me more of a brown ale than a english strong.

Pours a reddish ruby brown in the glass with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and toasted with some alcohol aroma. Taste leaves a little to be desired and the beer is a little thin. Though I must say, this is by far the best beer I’ve tried from the brewer.
