3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Firkin tap at the brewery anniversary. Pours a hazy golden color with a light white head. Low carbonation. Aroma is pepper spice big time. Lots of warm notes. Flavor is light wood, big chili pepper with a warm tingle over the palate.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma is full of chili pepper and a bit of green pepper with just a touch of grain backing. Flavor works pretty well with a grain and grass backbone with a pepper combination overlying. Works surprisingly well.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask at the Gingerman. Light pour with a huge white head. Aroma is peppery and grainy. Taste is grainy bread and a more subdued chili flavor than most chili beers. Almost pleasant. For a chili beer.
