June 2006 - Itís rare that I have a beer this horrible. Pour looked like iced tea, no head at all. Flavor was flat and like drinking a liquified dog in a cardboard box. I drank about 3 oz of it and it was all I could take and down the drain it went. Truly memorable...and not in a good way.

Red tinted light amber pour with a scant off-white creamy looking head. Aroma is malty, earthy, with a bit of sweet vanilla fudge. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Flavor starts with sweet maltiness, almost caramel like in the middle and a dry finish.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This beer poured a dark amber body with a large off-white head. I poured this beer at room temperature, which gave the beer maximum head retention. However, when I was pouring, I could see that the head was diminishing quickly. This beer had little to no aroma, which was surprising, given the temperature. The body of the beer was smooth, almost watery, which allowed the bitterness of the hops to come come out. Some sweetness, but it took a few sips to find it. This beer had little to no carbonation, which tells me that this was meant to be served ice cold. Perhaps if I chilled this beer or had it from tap, I might appreciate it more, as it stands, however, I really have reservations about the beer crafting ability of the great state of Texas...

Pours a deep amber into the glass, much like most of the beers Iíve tried so far from the brewery. Aroma is cereal grains. Taste is agreeable and malty, but nothing that will knock me over. This beer would be a good choice for a session beer, very smooth and crisp

Pours a great-looking ruby/amber color with a nice large white head. Goes down smooth with the taste of caramel. A little bitter. Has a good full malted aroma that hit me during the pour.
12 oz. bottle.

12oz bottle-A medium amber body with a decent white head that dissipates into a small covering over the beer. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, slight sweetness, and a little hops. Taste of malt, bitterness, slight tartness, and a caramel taste that lasts throughout the mouthful.

Says amber on the bottle but i guess its a vienna. Either way its crap. Poured this one down the drain. Pours an amber color with a small white head that is gone almost instantly. Smells state and skunky. Tastes like old hops malt and water. Meh.

fort worth wooo!!!! go us!
Iím really proud to have a brewery here in my home town. I pretty much like ever beer these guys make. my favorite is their summer wheat.
This one isnít bad either, it was obviously dark amber almost brown with a small head. it had a slight bitter taste, a dark/roasted-like flavor and was real smooth.
