Purchased as TexasRed: Aroma of malts and fruit. Pours a red amber with a none lasting white head and moderate lacing. The taste is malty up front with a hoppy bitter finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, enjoyable. Would make a great Texas summer sipper.

Draught. A pretty lack-luster beer. Not much flavor detected other than roasted malts.

Draught: This one pours a fairly clear reddish-amber color. There was a bit of an off white head on it. It left a little lacing. The aroma isn’t too bad. Pretty typical malts with some grassy notes, a decent enough lager aroma. The taste is also good, nothing really special, just good and easy to drink. Malts, some bitterness and biscuit notes. Pretty smooth. Easy to drink.

Nice, bright color, pleasant flavor and medium body. Muted finer tones. Good, simple bar beer.

Pours dark amber/red with small off white head out of bottle. Coffee and herbal aroma with slight coffee taste. Great beer! Drink Texas!

Draught. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate white head. This beer is remarkably "meh" to me. Almost devoid of anything to describe. OK.

Great taste. Not much aftertaste but it lingers a bit. Had one after shoveling snow off the driveway so maybe that colors my opinion but this is good beer.

from notes, (buffalo butt)...pours light brown/amber and is completely transparent with small head. the aroma is bready, taste was bready, watery, and some hop bitterness. This beer tasted much better on tap at their brewery.
