3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
From bottle. Picked it up at Specís on Eastchase in Fort Worth on the cheap. Looks good in the glass; clear copper with a bit of white head that is gone about halfway down. Nose is not particularly pungent--some biscuit malt but not much else. Nice bitterness, slightly sour toward the end. Harsh finish, but in a good way. Solid, but far from spectacular. Rahr doesnít break any new ground here, but itís a nice part of their portfolio.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle to glass. Smells like trash... Tastes even worse. Donít know if this was skunked or if this is actually the taste. Scared to try it again. I poured most of it in the sink.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pretty tame stuff. In fact, I would be pressed to call this an IPA. Faint floral hop aroma and some malts. Light copper color. The palate was light with below average carbonation. The flavors were not very pronounced. Very slight hops bitterness with a slightly sweet malt background. Actually, pretty bland for an established brewery.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
At first it tastes literally like piss but halfway through its not so bad. I really dont like it all in all, the aroma isnt so bad, but the taste is obnoxious in my opinion.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A very average style IPA. Pours a straw yellow color with white head. Not a whole lot on the aroma, but some citrus and pine. Palate actually has more malt than hop notes. Not terrible, but not something to go out of the way for.

3.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Serving: from tap at Tolbertís Restaurant.
Aroma: none detected.
Appearance: small, frothy off-white, initial head with excellent lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, medium-orange body.
Taste: lightly sweet, floral orange initial flavor and moderately bitter finish with average duration.
Palate: medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: great. Interesting, sweet flavor at the front and hoppy bitter finish. Thick, creamy palate. I would like to drink this again.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
[Bottle] Clear and light brown in color. Not much foam on top. Low carbonation levels. Mild hoppy aroma is overshadowed by caramel malts. Earthy hops in the taste. Low to moderate bitterness, but not much else happening here. Light in body. Taste reminds me of an ESB in ways. Tasting notes from 2012.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Little bit hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma has some hops, but not very strong. Smooth and a little thin. Alright, but there are other IPAs I prefer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft @ DFW. Deep amber colour with a thin head. The aroma tells me this is old school IPA, without a prominent hop signature. Moderate bitterness, some biscuity, caramelly malts, medium body, sweetish finish and no real brightness at any point. Not a bad beer, but a little dated.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a clear golden orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of grass and light pine with a hint of resin and a pretty strong grain backbone. Flavor has lots of grass and grain with just a bit of pine coming through in the finish.
