12oz bottle. Brew pours medium gold, mostly clear with a fizzy white head that dissipated quickly. Some lemon zest and other citrus notes. Flavor held some spice and hop bitterness, finish was quick and somewhat astringent.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cavie (3382) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - FEB 4, 2009
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2010 Not a bad IPA. It doesn’t bowl me over with hops, which I appreciate. Some don’t care for that but I really like it. A much more subtle approach to an IPA. 3.8
RE-RATE 9/8/10 Fresh tap at the brewery grand re-opening! Pours a clear golden orange with a solid white head. Aroma of sweet sap, grain and fruity notes. Flavor is lightly hopped, big grain and soft bitter. An easy-drinking IPA.

Cask conditioned at the fall beer tasting at the Flying Saucer in Fort Worth. Slightly warm hazy and golden with a decent head. Hop flavor and taste but somewhat weak for an IPA.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Pershing (373) - Garland, Texas, USA - AUG 25, 2008
Golden in color with a small white head. Above average carbonation. Very thin with a clean taste. The hop level is not that high. I’ve never heard of a German IPA. Overall I would say this beer is one of their better ones.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a lacing white head. Grapefruit and citrus fruity aroma. Flavour is sweet and light citrus/peach fruity. Vague malt base but the flavour seems sweet as such from the fruity accents. Nice and smooth with a little bitterness coming through. Ends with a solid biterness.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 aplusbreaks (330) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 3, 2008
12oz bottle thanks to mar. Pours a pale light golden with a small white head, very little lacing on mine. The nose doesnt bring much honestly. The taste, well if I was blindfolded I wouldnt guess IPA, Im not sure what I would guess. Taste some sweet malts, hops, citrus and some wheat characteristics.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 gringo332 (472) - Richardson, Texas, USA - JUN 29, 2008
Bottle: Pale gold, light white head and nice lacing. Nose of flat dry (not the verb, the adjective) hops, some sour malt and light yeast esters. The flavor is a little hoppy, but comes across as an underseasoned steak, just bland. Grassy tail.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) KAggie97. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a creamy off-white head. Lightly sweet malt and citrus in the aroma.. Medium body, fruity and lightly perfumy with a distinct hop bitter finish. Drinkable indeed but not exactly a spectacular IPA. 220608
