Summer is here, so why hot try our new Summertime Wheat? This refreshing, lightly hopped ale has unique banana and clove-like charachteristics and it's served with the yeast. We add just a little bit of rye malt to give it a Texas kick!

Has a trippel nose, light honey pour. Very very light, I think I have a hint of bananas or citrus at the finish and a slight bitterness but really not much flavor. However, hot day would make this very very tasty and drinkable.

Appearance: lightly cloudy orange-gold pour, two fingers of foamy white head, minimal lacing. Aroma: STRONG nose of banana, bubblegum, light esters. Taste: banana, bubblegum, clove, cream of wheat, light toast. Finish: lasting sweet banana and bubblegum. Notes: Pretty darn heavy on that banana and bubblegum. This was an uncharacteristically heavy and sweet HW. Could have benefited from a much lighter palate and some of the more typical citrus notes found in the best examples of the style. Draught at the Hoppy Monk in El Paso, Texas.

Drinking from a 12OZ bottle, I smell the banana and clove. But I really don’t taste it, but I do taste the rye and hops. It’s ok....

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours cloudy light orange with half finger white head. Aroma is estery wheat, medium body, medium carbonation, and medium small-bubble lacing. Taste is clove, banana, just slightly off wheat peaks from time to time, and some rye in the finish.

Hazy golden brew with small head that faded fast. Smells of fruit and spice. Taste was at first strong banana then the spice kicked in. Interesting and different than most wheats out there. Not exactly what I would want on a hot day, sorry the banana flavor is not bad but not what I want when hot and sweaty. Would rather have had the orange zest but overall still not a bad brew.

Had at the Great Arkansas Beer Festival 2014. Pours a hazy yellow. Some wheat and yeastiness. Grassy and wheat. Nice beer.
